Conoco Phillips Testing Laboratory

This state-of-the-art petrochemical testing and analysis laboratory was constructed for testing and analyzing combustible products including gasoline and diesel. The HVAC systems include variable air volume supply, variable air volume fume exhaust, and gas phase filtration. Fume exhaust was accomplished utilizing variable flow controls to reduce air flow and save energy during non-use while maintaining the required safe interior environment for staff.

The air handling system consists of a central air handler, chiller, special filtration, and DDC controls. Other mechanical systems include deionized water, extensive specialty lab gas piping, compressed air, vacuum piping, and acid resistant waste piping. Work was completed safely and on time – meeting challenging schedule requirements.
