Available Positions:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our Service Department.  This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected company and highly motivated team! Our Service Department performs maintenance, service, and installation of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment for our residential and commercial customers.

Basic Job Duties:

  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous service, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
  • Evaluate HVAC/R equipment for repair or replacement and communicate details effectively
  • Install and perform start-up of HVAC/R systems
  • Boiler experience and basic operation preferred
  • Light commercial and industrial service

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience (Refrigeration experience desired but not necessary)
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Technical AA degree preferred
  • EPA Refrigerant Handling Card
  • Electrical O6A License or trainee card
  • Physically able to climb ladders to work from height, work in crawl spaces and lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • Valid Washington state Driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
  • Availability to be on call nights and/or weekends as required
  • Must possess applicable Industry Certifications and Licenses

We are looking for a positive, self-motivated person with a team-oriented mindset to join our Engineering Support Department. Applicant must have excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task. We offer a flexible work schedule and competitive pay.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CAD team members to produce high quality CAD deliverables
  • Responsible for making changes on site plans/construction drawings as requested
  • Understanding of spatial relationships to resolve potential interference issues
  • Communicating issues and foreseeable problems to Engineering Support Team quickly
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical drawings, and models

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge and skills in use of:  AutoCAD, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Bonus:  Fabrication CADmep, Navisworks Manage, Revit, or Bluebeam

  • Evaluate plumbing equipment for repair or replacement and communicate details effectively
  • Direct knowledge and ability to service, trouble shoot and diagnose all forms of plumbing issues including drain service and repair
  • Install and service hot water tanks, sump pumps, effluent pumps, disposals, recirculation systems, showers, water services, valves, etc.
  • Install supports or pipes and equipment prior to installation
  • Knowledge of the plumbing code
  • Install all plumbing and piping related equipment per code in residential and commercial buildings

Blythe Mechanical Inc is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our Commercial Sheet Metal Department.  This is a great opportunity for a full-time position with a well-respected company that has been in business for over 100 years!

Basic Job Duties:

  • Assemble and install rectangular and spiral duct and fittings
  • Install packaged rooftop units, air handlers, VAV boxes, fans, fan coils and other HVAC equipment
  • Work with hand tools and power tools
  • Coordinate with other trades
  • Follow and carry out directions to accurately complete required jobs in a timely manner according to set schedule
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Sheet Metal Journeyman commercial/residential experience
  • Ability to read and follow blue prints
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Safely operate scissor lifts
  • Frequent heavy lifting required – up to 50 lbs
  • Washington State Driver’s License and a good driving record (acceptable to our insurance carrier)
